Announcement
For the third consecutive year, members of the Montgomery Bar Associatio , its Young Lawyers Section and area law firms have collected contributions and made donations to the USO at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove to help ensure a happy holiday for locally based troops deployed overseas and their families.
This is part of a campaign called "Holidays for Heroes." According to Steve Fireoved of the Chartwell Law Offices in King of Prussia, this year's campaign has already raised $5,000 in financial contributions and another $5,000 in food and gift donations. Fireoved has led this initiative with support from bar leadership since its inception in 2007 and hopes to see more donations trickle in through the new year.
Among significant contributors to date are the association's Young Lawyers Section and Inns of Court, who collected toys and cash donations of more than $1,000 at their annual holiday party. Other significant contributors include the Chartwell Law Offices, Redner's Markets, Brown's Shop Rite, Genuardi's, Wawa and One Village Coffee. Those interested in making a donation are encouraged to visit www.montgomerybar.org for details.
